Perfume Plants

biancalana This is a project that aims, on the one hand, to preserve an ancestral agricultural heritage, and, on the other hand, to allow existing plant producers to establish lasting financial equilibrium.

The Club des Entrepreneurs, in its desire to develop and promote the savoir faire and the region’s industrial and agricultural heritage, seeks to lend support and expertise to the producers to identify new sources of development and discover new prospects.

A new generation of proactive, responsible farmers are committed to a restoration and reorganization of their production methods in a move towards clean, reasoned, high-quality agricultural production.

Carole dans les Champs To move forward quickly with this step, the perfume plant producers, with the encouragement of their principals (finished product Brands) and supported by the Club des Entrepreneurs, chose to make the commitment to promote their special savoir faire for an extraordinary crop that is endemic to the region. They hope to protect this crop and ensure the traceability of their products, meeting consumer expectations:

This initiative is in response to market trends that are turning more and more to natural products. Public demand is increasing respect to knowledge of product origin and natural quality, and companies’ marketing approaches must rely more and more on the "natural" dimension to promote their products. Further, businesses are now called upon to show proof of a corporate social responsibility strategy, supporting sustainable development, in their operations!

Gala de Centifolia This initiative, too, is in line with the aspirations of “Grasse, French Riviera, Land of Naturals,” the world center of natural products.

The arrival of the directors of leading international perfumery and luxury cosmetic companies (Chanel, Clarins, Thierry Mugler, Guerlain, Oréal, Dior, Yves Rocher, Natura, Aveda, etc.) and the results of work stemming from the congresses definitively convinced perfume plant producers, processors specializing in natural products, and area business leaders that all means possible should be employed to ensure the conservation of this agricultural savoir faire, preserving its international reputation in this domain.
